Georgina

Georgina joined CAE’s team as our Youth Development Coordinator in March of 2023. Before coming to CAE, Georgie worked as Base Building Organizer at Community Voices Heard, a labor and housing justice nonprofit, and as a Social Worker at a city-based youth female/female identifying and GNC transitional home in Bronx, NY. She has not only a Masters in Social Work through Hunter College’s Community Organizing Planning and Development Method Program at the City University of New York, but also a Bachelor of Arts in English from the City University of New York’s Queens College.

With her additional background in Social Work, Community Organizing, and Arts, she works to dismantle social injustice in all spaces while tying education, creative arts, and policy into her work to help build a safe space for all groups affected by bias attacks and hate. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Georgie is passionate about her community. She loves live music, dining (especially diners!), and loves watching a good movie at the theaters!
